After a labrum tear prematurely ended Troy's career, he returned home to the organization where it all started.
After graduating from Heart lake SS in 2015, Troy attended New Mexico JC, where he hit .286 prior to transferring to Johnson County CC where he slashed .340/.439/.605. Following his JuCo career, Troy finished his collegiate career at Wayne State University where he graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2019, and a Masters of Business Administration in 2021. Troy was the 2019 recipient of the NCAA Troy Berry Award for Leadership, Character & Integrity. He now aims to guide the next group of leaders with the Ontario Blue Jays and through his youth programs with DARING ◆ DIAMOND SPORT DEVELOPMENT.
Troy brings a wealth of knowledge and energy with him to the organization in his roles as a hitting & defensive coach. Troy also works within the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy, assisting with youth instructional clinics and the Canadian Futures Showcase, which he is a proud alumni of.
