1995: Played for Team B.C. winning gold at the Western Canada Games
1997 - 1999 attended Taft Junior College. All Central Valley Conference (CVC) 1st team as a sophomore
1999 - 2002: attended Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. Team MVP and Northern Illinois – Iowa Conference (NIIC) All-Conference honors. The following season, as a senior in 2001, again garnered MVP and NIIC All-Conference honors. Following his senior season, was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region Team.
Career marks in batting average (.435); on-base percentage (.493), single-season batting average (.454) and single game stolen base (3) still stand as program records.
Received bachelor of arts degree in kinesiology/physical education from Clarke in 2002. Was an assistant baseball coach at Clarke in 2002 and 2003 and inducted in Clarke University Hall of Fame in 2016.
Moved to Ontario in 2005. Coached at BullettProof Baseball Academy as part of Fergie Jenkins Showcase League before moving on to coach at the Fieldhouse Pirates from 2014 - 2022. Began coaching with the Ontario Blue Jays Baseball Club in the fall of 2023.
Experience includes
Head coaching 14u - 18u age levels; college placement; infield / defense instruction; assisting with running youth development camps.
Assistant coach for Baseball Ontario (17u) Youth team in 2022 and 2023 in which won back to back gold medals.
