Kalmin to McMaster University

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that RHP Josh Kalmin (Vaughan, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at McMaster University (OUA - Hamilton, ON).  Kalmin joined the Ontario Blue Jays after his 16U season and has been an integral part of the 17U, 18U and Collegiate Teams since joining OBJ. Kalmin is a graduate of Bill Crothers Secondary School and has achieved at a high level both on and off the field during his high school career.

Josh will look to be an impact Freshman for the Marauders and they continue to push towards an OUA Championship after falling just short in 2019 at both the provincial and national levels.  Coming with him to Hamilton, will be the ability to command three pitches for strikes and a great competitiveness that will undoubtably help McMaster over the hump to a OUA Championship.

Kalmin will be one of many former Ontario Blue Jays who have made their way to the Marauders during their careers including 18U Associate Head Coach, Mike Siena.
