Greenfield to Lake Erie College

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that C Cody Greenfield (Richmond Hill, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Lake Erie College (NCAA DII - Painesville, OH). Greenfield joined OBJ at the 17 & Under level while attending Craig Kielburger Secondary School and has helped lead OBJ teams from behind the plate since joining in 2018. 

Greenfield will head to Painesville, Ohio and join newly appointed Head Coach Gary Vaught who has a storied career at the collegiate level, building both the Connors State College and University of Indianapolis programs into National Contenders. Cody will look to fit in right away behind the plate for the Storm and continue help them push towards a World Series birth.

Greenfield will be the first Ontario Blue Jays players to attend Lake Erie College.
