Devapalan to Northwestern Oklahoma

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce that 1B Josiah Devapalan (Brampton, ON) has committed to further his academic and baseball career at Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NCAA DII - Alva, Oklahoma). Devapalan joined the Ontario Blue Jays in 2016 as a 13-year-old and has grown up in the program, all while attending Mississauga Secondary School.

Devapalan joins a very competitive Northwestern Oklahoma State University program that continues to push to the top of the Great American Conference. Josiah will add a power bat to the middle of the Rangers order as he will look to help push them to a conference championship beginning next Fall.

Devapalan will be the eighth Ontario Blue Jays player to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
