Rob Butler joins Ontario Blue Jays Staff

The Ontario Blue Jays are excited to announce the addition of Rob Butler to the coaching staff for this upcoming season. Rob joins the Ontario Blue Jays while continuing his current position as Field Manager for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the newly re-branded, Canadian Baseball League.
Butler comes with a storied past as a 1993 World Series Champion with the Toronto Blue Jays. In the 1993 World Series, Butler drew seven walks, stole two bases and added a key pinch hit single off of Curt Schilling to eventually lead to the World Series Championship. Rob remains as the only Canadian born player to win a World Series Championship with his hometown Toronto Blue Jays.
Butler will join the 17 and Under Coaching Staff, alongside General Manager Perry Scott this Spring.
Welcome to the OBJ Family, Rob!
